Featuring Slate Barganier Building,
Birmingham, AL

Victor grew up in Birmingham, AL and graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor's degree in Building Science in 1998. Victor has been in the residential construction industry for 14 years. He joined Slate Barganier Building as a Project Manager in 2012. He began his career working as an Estimator/Budgeting Manager for a production builder in Charlotte, NC. He then worked for one of Charlotte's premier custom builders. There, he was involved in the Estimating and Project Management of houses ranging in price from $700K to over $2 million. While in this position, his passion for architecture, design, and construction really began to sprout, and from there he went on to obtain his North Carolina General Contractor's License and start his own custom building company. He used his experience to build all types of houses ranging from $100k starter homes to $700K+ custom homes, and as sole member/owner of the company, Victor had responsibilities in every phase of construction. As the economy slowed, he shifted his focus more toward home improvement and repair projects which gave him the opportunity to work his tools, other than the phone and computer, a little more. This hands-on work has contributed to his well-roundedness as it has broadened his experience in areas of residential construction other than just management. Victor and his family have moved back 'home' to the Birmingham area. He enjoys running and being involved in his church. Victor and wife, Beth, have three children; Eden, Shea, and Abel.

Tags are key words that are added by a service provider or homeowner when they upload a photo. They may describe anything in the photo the uploader thinks is particularly notable: a feature, a paint color, a material used, anything. We encourage you to add tags wherever something in the image has caught your eye. If you don't see many results under tags yet, you will as the site grows. Keep tagging!
