Stan Weldy, Operations Manager

Stan grew up in Birmingham, AL and graduated from Jacksonville State University in 1999 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. Stan has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry and joined Slate Barganier Building in 2013 as Operations Manager of the Home Inspection Repair division. Stan's construction experience began at age 16 while working as a finish carpenter for his father's company. After college, he began working for a commercial construction company as a field engineer. There, his duties included building layout, code compliance, and ensuring the multi-million dollar projects were built to the client's specifications. After leaving the commercial construction industry, Stan worked as a project manager for a large production homebuilder where he managed the construction of more than 150 residences in the Birmingham area. In 2011, Stan directed his work efforts to residential insurance restoration and repair. He personally has been involved in the repair or restoration of over 100 houses that were damaged by various storms. When he's not spending time with his two daughters, Baylor and Jenna, Stan enjoys hunting, fishing, working out, and watching Alabama football.
