Charlie completed his first renovation in 1971 and worked part-time in remodeling until 1978 when he founded Charlie Allen Renovations, Inc. Charlie's philosophy is that a great company will attract great employees, and he is dedicated to creating a positive and rewarding work environment in which his employees will thrive. This strong company foundation supports and fosters the goal of providing excellent customer service to all Charlie Allen Renovations customers. Charlie is well regarded by his peers, and in 2006, served as Chairman of the Board of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry's Eastern Massachusetts chapter. He was recently certified as an Aging in Place specialist by the National Association of Home Builders. He is also active with the Cambridge Historical Society, where he recently served as President. Charlie is originally from Washington State and has a bachelors degree from Harvard University. In his free time he plays basketball and enjoys watching world-class soccer with his wife and children.
