Remembering the days of old. . .as children our father brought us up to respect our environment. We were on the water as often as possible, crabbing, fishing and boating. The bay was a familiar place and one that encompassed lazy family filled days. Our grandmother had a shack on the water and dad would drive all eight of us down to visit for a weekend of family fishing. Where it all began. . .our 200-year-old family home was our first remodeling project. Always in need of repair, our dad taught us early on how to remodel, repair and update a home. We credit our work ethic and drive to our father, a retired steel worker. Dad is a very handy man and can do just about anything and as we worked alongside him we developed a solid understand of building. He encouraged each of his eight children to receive further education and each brother/owner holds a college degree, as well as other industry related certifications. Each brother/owner has an extensive background in the building industry, allowing us to offer our clients 150 years accumulated experience. Owings Brothers Contracting has its roots in family. The foundation of our company is teamwork woven together with quality and the assurance that your project isn't finished until you are satisfied.
