Owner and President Michael Sheehan of Element Kitchen & Bath Design LLC, has been in the custom home remodeling business for over seventeen years. Starting out as an apprentice working with Master Carpenters in 1994, he sharpened his skills as a carpenter and home remodeler. "The four years I spent in this field really allowed me to learn how to deconstruct homes which in turn taught me how to construct homes." After working as a carpenter Michael entered into the U.S. Marine Corps for four years to broaden his experiences and to build on his leadership skills. When Michael left the military he was a Sergeant and was responsible for 42 Marines and 4 tanks, totaling more than 5.2 million dollars in equipment. After the Marines Michael then worked with the Mainline's highest regarded Certified Pella Installer. Again starting as an apprentice Michael learned how to professionally install doors and windows with the latest trade techniques. "Learning how to install custom doors and windows is a complex art and requires constant attention to detail. Working in finished homes with the families residing in them while work is being done must be clean and thorough." In 2003 Michael wanted to transfer his skills into a new field, so he crossed over into the custom cabinetry business and again started as an apprentice. For three years Michael learned how to fabricate and install high end custom cabinetry, consisting of studies, bars, wainscot paneling, entertainment centers and kitchen and bathroom cabinetry. "When I started out I had to learn everything about the characteristics of wood and how to use them in different situations. There are thousands of different types of species of wood, but most importantly you have to know when and where to use them. Cabinetry is very tricky in the fact that you can't simply install any type of cabinet in your home." After those first three years Michael became shop Manager and had four employees working with him to create some of the most beautiful cabinetry and furniture. Michael worked as a custom cabinetmaker for five years before establishing his own custom kitchen and bath company. "I wanted to use my skills and take my ideas and apply them in my own environment to help my clients make sound and educated choices regarding their kitchen and bath projects." When Element Kitchen & Bath Design opened it was at the beginning of the recession, most people would have not taken on this task, but Michael had the motivation and experience to overcome any challenge given to him. Today Element Kitchen & Bath Design would like to invite you to experience our excellent customer service and fine home remodeling quality for yourself, call or email today for your FREE in home consultation.

They may describe anything in the photo the uploader thinks is particularly notable: a feature, a paint color, a material used, anything. We encourage you to add tags wherever something in the image has caught your eye. If you don't see many results under tags yet, you will as the site grows. Keep tagging!
