Common questions

What CAD files can ServiceLane 2D CAD open?

It can open 2D DWG and DXF drawings from your device.

Can I measure a CAD drawing online?

Yes. Confirm whether the drawing coordinates represent inches or millimetres, then use the measurement tools for distances, angles, areas and arc lengths.

Does changing the displayed units resize the drawing?

No. Choosing inches or millimetres labels the existing coordinates. It does not scale or resize the drawing geometry.

Can I edit and save the drawing?

The tool includes supported line, circle, text, annotation, Fillet, partial Offset and 2D Align workflows. The current drawing can be downloaded as a DXF file.
