Ned and I married in 1976. We have been in remodeling since 1982. I hold a B.A. in English Education from Oral Roberts University. Every house tells a story about the times during which it was built and my love for history has kept my interest in remodeling. I enjoy seeing a house updated in keeping with its original design. Few things are more disruptive and invasive than having your home remodeled. I know because Ned and I spent 14 months remodeling our own house which was built in 1936. No other experience could have taught me more about the importance of planning and doing things in the right order. My vision for our company is to thoughtfully plan and execute each project in the most efficient and least intrusive way. In 2006 I completed my Masters in School Counseling at North Carolina A&T University. This has enabled me to fulfill my life-long desire to work with young people. In addition to serving as an officer of NEI, I work as a school counselor. My favorite thing to do is to travel with Ned. I love to cook and spend time with our children and their families. I also enjoy working out, bicycling and hiking. I feel happy when clients are pleased with not only the completed project, but with the neatness and care with which it was done.
